I think it would be nice to have some control of Notification in Events. This reminder 5 mins before an event isn't being used as effectively as it could be if we had some form of control as to when the Notification would go off. Where residents can set what time they wish to be notified about an event or such. Some may need a reminder up to 60 MIN's in advance of that event.
I would love to be able to use it to remind me to get to my class, which I need to report to 30 MIN's before I have to teach that Event. I actually have to go to is 60 MIN's early to make sure the places has all rezzed to do the class. Instead I'm have to use an application outside of SL to remind me to do that.
That and an Audio Alarm set up on it would be nice, not just a pop up.
With these modifications, NOTIFY would really be used alot I think.
