We can currently subdivide a parcel of land, but we can't join two existing parcels. I suggest that either a "join" button be added to the land tool, or the existing "Subdivide" button be changed to read "Redefine parcel" or something similar, joining and dividing depending on the selected land.

Being able to prepare land segments for sale really would really be helpful.

When you have someone who is not sure thay want to trade/buy land from you, you want to make it REALLY EASY for them.

The release / buy back option doesn't really cut it.

It would also be handly to get the total amount of land selected when you are selecting land for a sub-divide.

I added some land to my plot in Aqua and then joined it. It seemed to work.

A few days later I decided I didnt want the added land and tried to subdivide what I got to release it. When I pick what I want to subdivide and click I get the message (after the divide land? msge) "Cant divide land, whole parcel is selected". So then I tried "release land" and with that I get the message "Unable to release land: You must select an entire parcel to release it. Try double clicking to select an entire parcel, or first divide your parcel."

So, Im in a catch 22. I cant divide OR release because it isnt divided.

Yes, I selected the exact same section both ways.

I agree. In fact, now that we don't get the money back for releasing land, juggling plots of land should be remarkably easy and we should have tools to seperate land into parcels and back again with ease.
