We need to be able to see that a parcel or a sim is damage-enabled or push-enabled BEFORE ENTERING THE PARCEL. The proposed option for land owners to opt out of allowing PUSH attacks on their land is a start, but is not enough to keep individuals safe from being subjected to attacks without warning when exploring, shopping or socializing on land that they do not own.
Please allow us to have an option in 'view', just like for seeing land owners, that will highlight damage-enabled parcels in red, push-enabled ones in yellow, and no-damage/no-push parcels in green, or something similar.
Likewise, if that option is active in view, then at the very least, the free-fire zone sims like Jesse should be highlighted in red on the map and mini-map.
If it is technically possible, the same color-coding should be available when looking at the map or mini-map, so one can chart a 'safe course' through the free-fire zones, and can choose NOT to teleport into or visit a location that is unsafe.
I want to know the minefield or free-fire zone is there BEFORE it explodes under my feet, and before I subject myself to being a possible target just because I unknowingly entered someone's unmarked free-fire zone. I want to be able to choose NOT to enter such parcels at all - to be able to see or detect them before I enter, so I can choose another path.
I realize that right now, the whole map would be yellow or red. But hopefully the advent of push controls in SL will allow at least some land owners to opt for civilized behavior instead of chaos, and to not allow their land to be a free-fire zone.
