I was wondering if this could be implimented. I just bought a couple Seburas and plan on making a full length Second Life movie (comedy, action) and want to be in the movie myself but I cannot shoot any gun or do any kind of action that requires me to be in mouselook out of mouselook.
Perhaps make Mouse Button 1 actions bindable to a specific key on the keyboard. Doesn't the MAC version have a feature that uses the Option key (or some other Mac key) to trigger what PC users would use the Mouse Button 2 for?
I would think this would be pretty easy to impliment. Thank you for your time.

This is actually up to the scripter, not Second Life. Typically guns insist on mouselook becasue it's the only way to fire with any accuracy. But nothing's forcing it's use. Heck, nothing's even forcing the "bullet" to fly forward with the av! As an example of a "gun" that shoots when not in mouselook, have a look at the Saedaku Tactical Folder knife.

I've already implemented this for the upcoming Ronin Weapons Colt 45s.
