I find in busy areas if someone says my name I usually miss it because there is too much text. Be handy if you beeped or highlighted the text so I could see it.

Approved. Though a dumb way to do this would be an LSL script that searches text on channel 0.
The latter solution would allow you to also add nicknames into things as well. Say someone asks for "Jeff" in chat as opposed to "Jeffrey" or "Jeffrey Gomez." It's something to think about. _____________________

Yes, and I'd also like to see lines of IM text color-coded in a diff. color in the main chat overlay too. That'd help them stand out... it'd help people with lots of IMs like Live Helpers... PLEASE LINDENS!
