I am a resident who would like to see an improvement, actually adding a object import to the program, just as a kind of extra feature.

I've heard about it inside the world before, but was told about the problem of importing meshes into the world, and other kind of things.

One of the things that not anyone thought about, was a information import, not a direct object import.

Maybe, try to build a code, so an external, maybe more advanced builder from offline editing can be used.

For instance, there is talk about a small change inside the program, of course more with improvements.

It takes a very long time to use the builder inside the program, plus the viewing porblems.

Extra improvements; ask other companies to make a program, and extra help lines for your nice software, in exchange of something else.

Blender Import Exists

There is a Python script for Blender to create SL compatible object sets. You can design your buildings/objects outside of Second Life, and then pull them in with the saved XML file.

Check the Building thread (search for 'Beta') for this.
