As a new field in profile has been added for agent languages. Will there be a call to dataserver available for scripts to fetch this information ?

They could... but really they should?
The problem I see in this is how... say it's given in string, how can you make sure that string is given to script if one user put "I don't have a language for you" or some silly message instead of actually using it as a information input.
I can see it's a good idea that script able to know what user can speak/understand, but I think it's best they change that text input into check-boxes of all the languages before able to have script function to pull any information.

I agree with you Vincent. It should be done in a more structured way. That was the object of my proposal 1827. Having much problem with grid attacks and a comunity rapidely growing whithout the need to push on new markets (new language areas) I imagine there won't be too much effort done in that way now. Beside recent improvements have been done. to accept international characters in notecards for instance. But not in the llSay function yet unfortunately. So my scripts will continue to speak bad french and use "select your language" dialogs for a while. As I know, most of the french speaking developpers and project leaders are trying to facilitate integration without creating getho sims as much as possible. SL is a cool way to practice and improve our english knowledge as the written form makes it more easy to understand. I wonder what will be the accent of one that learned english exclusively on SL
