No more big bums!

Lol i am starting a new SL voting proposal..i know lots of people are tired of the big bums and loose fits on the skirts so lets all vote for them to be fixed!! If enough people vote we might be able to ditch the prim skirts and have some real nice ones without the hassle of attaching seperate pieces!! And i'm sure a lot of designer people out there would love this too

This proposal suggests that linden labs change the skirt mesh we currently have, to allow for a better, tighter fitting skirt. So that it actually fits our true shape and not make us look like big bummed grammas!

Everyone i'm sure knows what i'm talking about and its not hard to realize how big your bum sticks out when you wear a skirt, even at the tighest possible fit. They need to be changed! The pictures in the attachment are examples

I am trying to get as many people as possible to vote for LL to add this feature, so add your vote and hopefully we will see a change within the next few updates!

I eartily endorse this product and/or service.

However...

You should know that there are already proposals of this type up there and it's been an issue for a long time. Whats necessary is to have skirts with a much more complicated mesh that attaches at different points. At the same time this would look hideous if they dont also fix the shirts, and while they are doing that, most folks think that a cape and a hood clothing item would be a good thing also.

The down side is that unless you have a good machine, this extra level of complication to the avatars (already the biggest source of lag in a sim), may mean a slow down of the entire game as far as I understand it.

I think the Lindens should do it though.

And I think there is a vast, silent majority of folks out there that also would like it if they knew that the proposals were even on the board. To me this goes directly to the statement Catherine Omega made the other day about a rating system for the current proposals.

I am almost certain this is a really big deal to many many people, but it always gets sidelined in favour of more technical issues. Related to this is the whole problem of the avatars themselves. Why cant we have realistic "parts" or even breasts that look and act like real ones? What could be more important than our own (virtual) bodies and what we have to do with them on a daily basis?

Personally these kinds of things are central to the personification of the individual and therfore central to the game. This is not the "girlie" issue that some try to characterise it as.
