LINDEN ANNOUCEMENT: The texture picker has been changed to no longer display (no
copy) textures when "Apply Immediately" is selected.

Even when I UNCHECK the "Apply Immediately" box...I cannot wear the textures in my inventory that are (no copy)!

PLEASE FIX THIS BUG ASAP! I want to wear my headbands, custom made by Soren Romulus and his shop is gone. I can't reach him. They are irreplaceable!

This is a change of major controversy - that is, the changes to texture permissions. While I cannot profess to being for or against it in general (since it did not affect me), I will note that a lot of people were hurt by the change for rather... unnecessary reasons.

Given that, I'm really not sure why the change was even made. It baffles me.

Basicly it is ment to protect from multiple uses of no-copy textures. To actually enforce this, there are many uses of no-copy textures that are difficult to enforce, which is why they had to completely disable it for items like clothing, because it could be saved into a clothing file seperate from the texture. I'm not sure if what I said made anything clear, or just made it more confusing, meh.

Oh and dont post the same topic in multiple sections.

I'm also going to have to agree with Wen. Please refrain from posting the same message to several forums. Linden Hotline and one forum are usually fair, but four forums is overkill and very distracting.

I find it amusing (not) that while Ana is so busy spamming each and every forum with this message that her PROBLEM has been addressed multiple times. Kelly Linden responded TWICE to the thing, for crying out loud.

19 posts. I wonder if ALL of them are to inform the world that there's a problem with the texture picker?
