I feel very frustrated right now concerning the telehub on the new continent. I recently bought some land as many others before the telehub was established. I understand that the Lindens want us to explored the new continent but when you're flying through purple what is there to see? I am tired of flying through ocean sims with the only neat sight to see is the oil well. Why would I fly through Purple with the new telehub in service you may ask? Well the telehub does not cover around 10 sims towards the bottom. I understand that some residents wanted telehubs out of the new continent but because one has already been established I believe it should cover the whole continent. I am paying monthly for my land and I expected the Lindens to provide adequate transportation to it that did not involve manually finding the hub in Periwinkle and flying through 8 sims. It has been suggested that i set my new land to home but this hardly solves anything. I did not buy my land to be secluded from everyone, I wanted my friends to visit me and it is a huge hassle for them. There is no sense in doing things halfway. If the telehub was established, it should have covered the entire continent. Either hubs for all or hubs for none. Otherwise people wouldn't have purcahsed the land they did. My land is as hard to find as a needle in a haystack and i expected better acess to it. I don't think those who have already bought land expecting to have telehub coverage should sell it. The land value has dropped aswell from the fact that you have to manually fly there. It seemed very logical to me that the telehub should have covered all the sims ont he continent but a number of Lindens suggested I post my opinion on the forum. Please either make sure the telehub covers the whole region or give us more landmarks to look at. I've seen the oil well dozens of times.

I agree....either the hub should be taken out or it should cover the whole area and let them explore from the hub as the starting point, but it should cover the whole area so we can at least TP into the region.

you chose your location, and it was always planned for that to be hubless.
watch what you ask for, hubs bring malls and clubs which will lag you toa standstill. who wants to see a big building in every sim?
get over yourself and set your land ot home, if a frind needs a TP, TP them or let them fly. honestly its not that big of a deal and if it is to you, MOVE to a telehub. its not like you are assigned land and told tuff you cant change a thing. you make your onw SL experience, if your not happy change it!
as for the north continent, I like seeing an area for homes whee the players dont have ot worry about that type of issue, and most of them flocked there exclusivly to be "out of reach". sorry if I come across strong but seriously things are fine the way they are.
as to the telehub they needed something to cover the north, and the other coveres the south there is adiquate transportation for anyone and everyone truthfully

as to the telehub they needed something to cover the north, and the other coveres the south there is adiquate transportation for anyone and everyone truthfully The new continent was planned to be hubless but no longer is. Without the telehubs all the sims we're pretty much equal in value apart from a couple close to favorable locations. The sims that are not covered by the telehub is no longer as desireable as the rest. I always hear people talking about preserving the continent but whenever I ask them if they would buy land not covered by the telehub I always get the same response, NO. Would it be easier for me to try and sell my land, find a buyer, and move to a more favorable location or extend the telehub coverage, which I assume dosen't take a whole lot of work to set up. Not everyone wants to see huge buildings by them but they have the right to be there. If you don't like your location them move. Afterall thats the same advice you're giving me. I really like the land i'm living on now and I don't want to be forced to move just because I dislike something about it. The Lindens i've talked to seemed to have no idea what I was talking about untill they looked at the map which leads me to believe this was not intentional. I did however put my land for sale in Oculea if anyone wants to buy it and preserve the beauty of it. In the meantime I want to build and develope which was my intention for buying the land. From: someone if your not happy change it! I'm not happy with it and thats why this topic is here, because I do want to change it.
