Undo Selection Change

I'd like to be able to undo selection changes. This is something I really came to appreciate in 3DS Max, which treats selection like any other undoable command. It's easy to select the wrong thing, or accidentally unselect the right things, working with a 2D display of a 3D space. I guess using the normal Undo feature for selection might confuse a casual user; maybe a seperate keyboard shortcut could be added.

if your shifting to select multiple items, you can click a selected item to deselect it. or are you talking about something else altogether?

Yeah, something different, let me give you an example. I select 13 objects planning on linking them with a 14th. I accidentally click on the 14th object without holding the Ctrl key, unselecting the first 13 objects. I want to be able to hit Undo and have the first 13 reselected.

But I dunno why you need to have it be a second command, just make selections undoable like anything else like in Illustrator!
