Is it possible to add ActiveX to SL? If so, how about embedding Flash, as you can with Python? Just a thought.

ActiveX... no. ActiveX in Second Life would suck due to the inherent flaws with the behavior. I believe HTML on a Prim won't support ActiveX controls for exploit reasons (and code simplicity).

However, Flash is already doable via Quicktime. The current breed only works for movies, though, since there's no real interactivity aside from a useful bug to get past the preloaders.

I hope you mean something like allowing more direct control of OpenGL than we curently get through things like llParticleSystem(), since ActiveX is a Windows-only technology.

[edit: mild flamage about ActiveX deleted]
