This feature is intended to be a more polite and flexible alternative to using Busy Mode, without rudely blocking all inbound IM's.

This feature allows players to set an Auto-Answer message... to be displayed the moment someone opens an IM window to them.

For example: "Hi! I'm hosting an event right now! I can teleport you over if you like, but I just can't handle another IM conversation until this is over, thanks! =)"

"I'm talkin to my sweetie... catch me later?"
"I'm at event in (SIM)... why not drop by instead of IM!"
"Busy... and feeling rather anti-social right now."
"Hi!"

It would be grand if there were a second Auto-Answer message field, for use when the avatar is offline, for example:

"I'm usually on after 9pm Linden time... but will try to answer your IM via email if you message me before then!"
"Questions regarding custom work? Please read my FAQ first!! (check my Picks list for it!) Thank you!"
"Sorry... I'm not here. I'll answer your IM when I get back!"

I've looked around for other possible suggestions for this feature and found none. This mod would be simple, straight forward, hopefully easy to implement and could greatly improve communication between people... as things are now, it's like shouting into an open window and not knowing what you're interrupting, if anything.

(curious.. tried submitting this to the feature voting system and it didn't stick. I'll try again later)

Prop: 1441 - Auto-Answer Message

Auto-Answer: Hi! I'm hosting an event... Can't chat much right now but I can TP you over if you like!

I would love to have the ability to set a message that would be seen the as soon as someone opens a window to IM us. (BEFORE they send their first Instant message).
