I know this is odd me asking for this as I am married etc but we just realized that the SL classifieds forum is the only classifieds section we have ever seen without a personals section. There should be a personals forum (post only of course, otherwise that could get spooky), it would be fun to read and maybe someone could find someone else

Yeah, sure. Personals are a part of, well, most newspapers's Classifieds I'd think. Sounds like a good idea to me.

It wouldn't even have to be romantic -- could be friendship and other type ones too. (Virtual pen pals who write IMs but never meet inworld? LOL.)

Hmm... this could be cute, someone should set up a matchmaking service to go along with it, hehe! Or maybe setup some kind of anonymous messageboxes for those shy types.

In the interim, I have added a Personals forum to SLuniverse (post only), which I had been planning on adding for awhile

One advantage to a third party site is that other than using an alt to post, we have no ability to be anonymous here. If you want to create an anonymous ad for privacy, you can have more than one SLU account. If anyone has additional suggestions, please let me know

Get in touch with CraigsList and ask them about setting up a page for Nova Albion. How freaky would that be? It'd be great advertising for SL too, I'd bet that it'd be slashdotted at the very least.
