What would really be a nice addition to SL software is an "Avatar Studio" similar to what the SIMS games has! Something you could use offline then import the results into SL.

What i mean is an offline "studio" that allows us to not only tweak our avvies looks a bit better but make clothing, any 2D texture an avatar could wear and import our own textures into, then upload into SL.

Of course I realize this might put some creators out of business at least in the "wearables" dept and I'm not trying to do that . (Surely there are plenty of other things people could make and sell). Then too it would decrease the amt of Ls payable to LL each time we upload something. These are some of the "cons" I suppose.

But it would be so nice to have a better way to make clothes for example which I myself find to be very tedious and much too time-consuming and not always successful. Using those templates is a pain in the butt, even if they are the best templates around.

I don't think it would put too many "wearables" creators out of business. Object-based wearables of other kinds (shoes, hair , jewelry) would still abound.

It would just make things a bit more fun in SL in the way of creating, and personally I wouldn't mind even paying for that kind of software as an SL addon (at a reasonable price of course).
