Being able to import an image and have it mapped as a 3D model would be very helpful. For example: If I was to take a cropped image of the side of the car, with the rest of the image white, then import it, have an option to create an object the dimensions of the image and use the actual image itself as a texture.

Scripts can do this, but it's a very long and prim-expensive process.

But they're very prim-intensive. As in, a model to that detail would likely eat a whole sim.
