It is to my experience and to many others i know as well, that laggy malls and casinos depreciate the value of a residential lot on a sim. Not only do malls and casinos ruin it for the non-commercial residents by creating terrible lag but having to listen to slot machines, greeters, automated venders in your chat history while your trying to relax at home is a terrible nuisance. the only solution that exist today *and well lets be realistic, its NOT a solution at all* is to ask the mall or casino owner to remove such problems. By then you have insulted the owner because they want to make a quick buck and dont care about the neighbors so things get even worse from that point on. Ugh this is such a headach.

So i propose a Catagorized Sim.

What am i talking about? You ask. Simple. Under this guidline sims will fall under 1 of 3 catagories. Either a Residental Sim =non-commercial, a Commercial Sim for business only, or a Residential & Commercial Sim.

Now if you think carefully this benefits everyone greatly. If you have a business and you place your store in a Commercial only sim you will gain business by the traffic around you. And if you reside in a non-commercial residents only sim then the headache goes away, the property value goes up, and the sim remains as georgouse as ever. Which leaves room for a neighborhood community group to be established and lets face it, theres soo many posabilites with those.

You may be thinking what about all those sims that are mixed with both right now. Well in time they will go one way or the other. And yes this is just the start but what a start to a beautiful future. And to those that love having thier home and busines on the same lot, more power to you.

Honestly tho, you have to admit theres a problem. And this will help everyone.

Unsalted? Didn't know they came pre-seasoned.... ;P
It's "insulted."

And great idea. :)

I'm a grammer and spelling nazi. I might have horrid spelling skills, but when someone messes up a simple word (meaning one I either know the spelling for or can very quickly (I have www.dictionary.com in my sidebar*)) I will correct them.
