We business owners in game need a way to store data. To dfrive the economy vc's and banks need to open. The only way to effectively implement them is to have a database to back them up.

Bam, maybe you should follow current discussion in the Scripting forum. There's a thread there on communication between in-world scripts and out-of-world servers you might be interested in.

I/O, (even if it's "just" XML-RPC) would let us do an INSANE number of things, including database storage, like you wanted.
