Not sure when this happened; around 1.7.
I am a fast typer. I also make typos. To fix them I hold down shift + an arrow key OR the "home" key to highlight the text and retype it correctly. It doesn't work anymore. I can highlight text in notecards (most of the time) but I cannot highlight text in the chat box. It's kind of annoying. Please fix this, thanks!  _____________________

Also in a chat box, the arrow keys dont seem to work. They just move my av. Is that new or am I missing something?

Check your Preference settings

There is an option under Prefences in the Chat tab.
"Arrow keys move avatar while chatting" Un-check that and you can use the arrows while chatting... |

Ive just disabled the option in prefs and tried this and seems to work ok for me can shift arrow and shift home, try enabling the option in prefs click apply and then disable just incase a preference got messed up. _____________________
