"Global Scale" slider in Appearance

There ought to be a "global scale" slider in the Appearance menu. It'd affect the entire avatar, keeping the existing proportions, but adjusting the overall scale.

Slider combinations result in a specific proportion, but substituting smaller values only adjusts the proportion. There's no way to create a 1.5m av with the exact same proportions as a 2m av.

I've been noticing a need --at least personally-- for this for a while. Currently, my avatar has the approximate proportions I'd like, but ends up being about 7 feet tall. I'd like to be able to resize it to a more realistic height.

Is there much demand for this?

Oh yes, I've just tried it and I see what you mean. If you adjust the 3 body-size sliders for a different height with roughly proportional changes in the other two, you end up deformed compared to your previous shape.

Good point.

LL, that's not adequate. Overall scaling would be a good idea. :-))

This would be good to have. While i don't need it personally at the moment i may in the future want to be a lawn nome or something short but keep the proportions. And i fail to imagine how adding this could be a problem. Thought may be to be put if and how it scales attachment position (and keeps them from getting to far away).
