Occasionally, my bandwidth drops to zero and I need to relog. Fine, its part of the system, and I am sure LL is doing everything to avoid this. However, if this happens during building, some modifications are still possible (scaling, rotation, etc), while others arent (e.g. linking, unlinking). It has happened several times now that I am carefully tweaking my objects during the zero-bandwidth phase, and hence loose that adjustment. Needless to say this can be very annoying, especially if wearing the perfectionist hat.
Now, I understand that it is necessary to take short network timeouts into account and allow the client to continue to edit, but I suggest to have some sort of visual clue if the bandwidth has dropped to zero for more than a couple of seconds, like a red border around the window, or a change in the mouse cursor, or whatever. This way one could wait with the build to see if the connections is re-established or if one needs to relog for sure.
