And/Or hold down ALT after starting the drag.
Good idea on the arrow mod, but how would it work for resizing or rotation. I think the rotation system works. Moving out from the object gives greater accuracy, so it feels right to start snapping (for perfect accuracy) by moving far enough out. I don't think double handles would work well for resizing though. It's hard enough sometimes to grab the handle you want. ALT is still the best option there, I think. _____________________
