I'd love to know why we have the redundancy between our "Library" folder and our "Inventory". Why have both?
Couldn't they have streamlined this alittle. It was very confusing to me to see two different Objects folders and all. I thought I had lost some of my things after I stored them and then was looking in the wrong place.
There must have been some reasoning behind having the two folders but I don;t know what it was.

Originally, everything was in Inventory.
If you deleted something, it was gone.
Now you can copy it from the Library to your Inventory. Presumably, you can't delete anything in the Library.

Yeah, the library is the default inventory. I never open it or look at it.

THe difference between the two is:
Your Inventory was given to you in a poorly arranged form, and will frustrate you because you will quickly get buried with all the crap you collect, and a lot of things named "object". Regardless, it'll be fun, neat crap, but you'll have to fight an uphill battle with organizing your inventory in order to keep from drowning in the deluge of items.
Your Library will likely become useless to you after the first several days in-world, but it will frustrate you because you can't delete it, even if you'd really really really rather not have it, and even if it would help you to consolidate your inventory mess (mentioned above) by having one fewer folder at the root level.

I would prefer a few more root folders than just Library and Inventory, for example, I would like the Photo Album to be a root folder, as well as textures. Why not make Trash a root folder as well. When you start to amass several categorized folders within Inventory, the scroll bar can become long and tedious.

Everything in inventory should be a root folder alongside Library stuck at the very top. There's no reason we need the protected 'my inventory' folder when it's impossible to have any other folders at root level.

The Library is worthless except to new members who have nothing.
