Auto renew Classified ads

I think this would be a great feature...I always forget to re-post my classified ad and an option to always auto renew your ad would be nice or even to buy 2-3 weeks at a time, what do you guys think?

I heartily endorse this feature/service. Frankly, it seems ridiculous it wasn't in there since the beginning. I stopped reposting my classifieds every week, it's stupid. If I could make an ad and walk away from it, I'd be there.

I'm watching the cumulative latest buzz on this. Please post if this is important to you--I favor it myself but I wanna see how many peeps it matters to on here. Thx. ^.^

Im in the same boat ... forget to renew the classified ... and have to recreate it from scratch.

It's beyond me how something like this could be designed without the option to renew.

Even if the expired ad stayed and could be "reactivated" that would be an improvement. Having to start from scratch for each and every ad is just .... mind-boggling.

This also drives me nuts.. please make it so that it auto renews, or at least we get some kind of reminder. Pleeeze :D

Hell yes please implement this. It seems like a very basic and needed feature to be honest. A quick search of the forums shows it has been requested several times before - so I think it would be welcomed by many. At the very least a reminder and/or retaining the ad info so we can repost without having to re-enter all the text would be nice. Paying in advance for multiple weeks would also be good.

Yes please! It would be great if the expired ad could stay, with a notice that it's expired and a "publish" button.

Auto-renewal with a selection of the number of weeks to renew. Money collection to be performed on the day of renewal, giving you the option of cancelling without the need for LL to give you a refund.
It really is a no-brainer.

Thought about this many times myself......glad to see its finally posted!!

We can check the box to auto renew our land listing in find places so why not the classifieds???

w00t! Classified autorenew is a YES as of Second Life Preview 1.9.1!

From: someone
  1. Classified ads now have an auto-renew option
    1. Checking the "Auto renew each week" checkbox in Profile > Classifieds will cause your classified to be republished instead of expiring after one week
    2. You will be charged the same listing price as the initial classified
    3. To change the listing price, you need to make a new classified
