IMs responded to after a certain time send original IM(s)

After a certain time (configurable by the user, preferably), especially if one has not been logged in to receive IMs (even if they have IMs emailed), it would be nice if, when replying to an IM, the previous IM's text would appear in the IM, quoted, so one can see what one is replying to. It's easy to forget what an IM is about, and since there is no IM history/log, it's impossible to go back and reread old IMs. Perhaps an IM inventory option is needed that keeps a record of each IM and allows them to be combined to create an IM "conversation" log or something (so there aren't a bajillion IM inventory items).

I have a suggestion for the www.secondlife.com web page, not the sim itself.

I can get to www.secondlife.com on my pocketpc phone as well as the school computer I am on right now. Neither, however, can run secondlife itself.

I'd like to be able to IM someone inside the game from the secondlife.com web page, provided I am logged in.

Not a critical feature, but a useful one that would require very little effort to implement. At the moment, you can send an im OUT of the game, if the user has the email option enabled. No way to respond though. It would be nice for an established user logged into the www.secondlife.com web page to be able to send something back in.
