Sales Analysis

Hi, I've just opened a store in SL. As a business owner in RL too I use a variety of tools to help me know which products are popular.

It seems to be something SL is rather lacking at the moment, for business owners. We can of course view transaction history, but it would be great if EITHER:

SL itself would enable us to do some sales analysis,

OR:

It allowed us to download a CSV file of our transaction data so we can perform that analysis ourselves.

I'm not talking about anything too complex, just for example the ability to see product sales between two dates, so we could see which of our products are most and least popular, seasonal variations etc. Luckily with SL we don't need to worry too much about stock levels ;)

The ability to see trends in sales enables us to predict future earnings, remove stock that is not doing well and increase visibility and advertising of stock which is doing well, and so on.

At the moment I'm having to key all of my days sales into a spreadsheet in order to see what is going on. The ability to be able to download our transactions would be a huge help for this and other cash flow analysis.

Thanks,

Dael.

Have you checked out the "Download all transactions" yet on the transaction history page via the website?

This URL might work:
