Please please please, for the love of god, please let us change our avatar last names...
I would pay good money to be able to change my last name and avoid having to create a new account and transfer all of my inventory to it to just get a new avatar last name.
Please... Please... Please... I beg of you (the lindens) to allow this somehow.

I do think it is not fair for the avies who get married to still have last name. I do think there should be a easy way to change last name.... but the catch is will the id cards change and how will that work then?

And what, precisely, happens when Bob Beaver wants to change his last name to Bob King and there already is a Bob King?
No, I don't think we should give people the ability to simply change their identity at will. Last names are something special in SL. They're limited in number, available only for a short time, and signify who you are and when you came into the world, even without looking at the Born On date.

Nobody put a gun to anyones head and made them chose their last names. (SL Does not yet support shotgun weddings )

From: Cashmere Falcone Nobody put a gun to anyones head and made them chose their last names. (SL Does not yet support shotgun weddings ) We'll have to ask LL to add that to the 1.6 feature list.
