The bright blue color in the mini-map for objects you own wipes out the avatar "T" symbol (when the ave isn't the same height as you). This is an issue when you have significant builds in a sim. Give us a toggle to turn ownership color on and off please.

I'd be happy with just giving the T a little shadow, like the dot got.

I cant even see the dot.

I have been on my platform many times and had folks trying to visit me in the house on the ground and had no idea they were there.

This because no matter where I live in SL, my property always contains a GIANT BLUE SQUARE THAT HAS NO INFORMATION CONTENT OR USE AT ALL. (except for it's ability to obfuscate other usefull information and give the map a nice "ugly" effect)

seriously, let's just ditch it. :)

Well, I would like to have the color stay in some form - it does help me find stray prims.

Anything that'd make it compatible with the far more broadly useful feature of the map - av detection - would be fine with me.

why not just get a toggle for the option?

It also helps you to find your narrow little aircraft landing platform in the sim.

But an option to turn it off would be nice.

Huh? I can distinguish the green (#00ff00) T from the cyan (#00ffff) ownership color just fine. Two possibilities here: 1) You don't have your monitor tuned right. Go here http://the-light.com/16m/16m.html and adjust your monitor until you can see a smooth gradation in every panel.

2) You're color-blind. Kill someone who's not color-blind and take their eyes. I'm not giving you my FL address, and anyway, I have a gun.

Try running SL on 1600x1200-1900x1200-2048x1536 window mode, then youll see how hard it is to see a tiny green on cyan background, SL could use with a option to change colors on object you own, avatars color would be nice.

gui dont scale, so running higher res helps for building, as youll get more room for menues, and script/notecards.

Im nearsighted dont use glasses infront of pc, but if i run lower res 1024 i can see it, but why would i run that low res :p
