Does anyone else have problems getting the pie-menu to appear? In a busy sim, there can be a delay of up to 5 seconds before the pie menu appears.... That isnt so bad but does anyone else experience this?
The main problem is when I try to bring up the pie menu and I hear the noise, the menu appears for a split second, then dissapears right away. Or sometimes, the menu will appear again for a split second, my mouse pointer jumps, and I will select "goto" or "sit" without even clicking on them....
Does this happen to everyone or just me?

I don't have this specific problem with pie menus, but I do occasionally have a problem where a single mouse click is registered by the client as two mouse clicks.
I notice this most when debugging scripts that have touch_end() events. I click once, but I get the debug message from the touch_end() event twice.

Almost everything I make involves objects shouting commands at each other, and during bad lag the objects will hear messages twice. I had to add lag-proofing code to stop it.
Its pretty odd since I assume objects are on the same server in the same sim - I guess messages still get sent out to the net even if it will be recieved by the machine that sent it.

I have that problem sometimes, Jack. I usually just click-drag to my desired option, and it won't do it anymore for a while.

I'll try click & drag.. It's very frustrating. It's as if the click is sent to the server to figure what what the pie menu should look like but then the client just closes the pie menu 'cause the server didn't respond....
either way I hope the pie menu response time will be improved a bit with new versions...
