If not, could a Linden comment on validity and move to Feature Suggestion if it has merit?

What I'm asking about is UNgrouping land. Currently, the only way I know of to ungroup grouped land is to set your Contribution to zero (else you raise your tier for that month) and then sell it to yourself.

This is a very clumbsy way to do this. Very prone to error of not setting your Contribution to zero because there are no "failsafe" popups involved, nor is F1 Help very detailed in the method of ungrouping land this way.

Would it be possible to implement a vastly easier way of doing this? Simply being that if the Members of the Group, which have the Ability to 'Ungroup Group Land' (a hypothetical name for a new Ability), select and acknowledge wanting to do so (a popup confirmation would deffinately be a good idea), then all Grouped land is reset back to the Accounts whom have Contributed that land to the group.

Example:: John is an Officer in the Placeholder Group. Five members have Contributed to the Group and have thier land Grouped for some temporary project. After the project is done, John selects 'Ungroup Group Land' from the About Land menu. The five members whom had Contributed land, once more become sole Landowners of the lands they had beforehand.

Foreseen possible problems:
-Joining/splitting group land. Would storing the original data on how the Group Land was parceled before becomeing Group Land cause any issues with the database server? Could any issue arrise from the seperation and distrubution back to the original landowners?
-Handling of monthly tier. How would this be calcualted in this case? Would every landowner reclaiming thier sole parcels be charged that month's tier? Or would tier paid as a Group be counted for that month?

Of course, if I'm simply missing an easy way to Ungroup land, please feel free to let the new Comm Monkey chuck a bananna at me and eek out the answer. *Grins*

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.
