Hello.
I'm a resident of Second Life and I'd like to suggest to you that you open the forums again.
Why?
Well because your whole system just died...thats why. SL died, the webpage is unreachable, the Blog is nearly timing out.
Oh and guess what? Nobodies talking about this on the resident forums because hardly ANYONE knows where they are irregardless of your list of resident run websites.
Theres a problem...theres no way to discuss it, theres no way to find out if its just affecting ME or affecting everyone else.
And the ONLY part of your system I can get to is THE FORUMS.
WOW...what a concept. Feedback and community all in one package.
Bring them back. You need them. We need them.

Has it occured to anyone that not ALL the forums are going bye bye? Just the ones that serve no purpose (Announcements replaced by the blog, the off topic ones, and the group forums that aren't being used).

The removal of it tightly constrains the use of the remaining forums to "on topic" which can be easily misused and abused and topics that are deemed subversive or "off topic" or just plain in contradiction to company statements can be removed on that basis. |
