I have to vent... What's with this 15 group thing?! Personnally i've been poking (more like harrasing) the Lindens for better group structures! We've been bitching, whining for MONTHS and all we get is +5 groups?! It took 6 WHOLE months to decide that... hmmm we are simply gonna boost it to 15.. that should shut them up for a while!?!? As I said before... boosting current group limit IS NOT THE SOLUTION! For all of you that are like, quit your whining and bring solutions to the table... we did that already!!! /13/d6/15501/1.html We gave them tones of suggestions, if you feel like adding... add them HERE! |

I don't blame you for being upset. We all hate the group limitations. However, be aware of what is involved to make it unlimited like we all want. As I understand it, the back end was not originally designed to accomodate an unlimited amount of groups. What I was told was that the group listing is not in a relational database like it should be, meaning that whole part of SL needs to be rewritten (not a small task). LL has said that the increase to 15 is just a stopgap for now and that a future update (sorry I forget which one they said it would be) will feature unlimited groups.
