This would do the same as the "Drop" command on the pie menus. Ideally, though, it shouldn't move to a random place on the ground, but rather stay in the same general area where it appeared to be prior to dropping it. Also, llAttachToAvatar should be made to work on any given person, as long as they have granted us permissions. Right now, there is no way to make a simple ball-tossing game where an object detaches from an avatar, flies to another, and attaches to it.

The way Jetball did it was to rez a prim and you needed attachments, etc, etc, etc. I wholeheartedly support this suggestion.

Yeah, the way I'm doing it is to have two people wear an attachment, rezzing an object that moves between them and dies, and alternating people's attachments between 0 and 100% alpha to show them catching and holding it. It looks freaking horrible, and it's a lot of scripting to accomplish something that would otherwise be 5 lines of code.

I support this feature suggestion. I too have often wondered why attaching was limited to owners, and why we had a detach, but no drop. Great idea!

"Attach, Detach, and Drop" would be a great name for a future SL hip-hop hit.

"Yay" for anything that gives us better AV--created stuff interaction.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!
