Now that there are at least four Sim-sized Sandboxes, would it be possible to vary the schedule of the wipes, so that each sandbox was cleared at a different time? Say, one at 3:00, another at 6:00, another at 9:00 and a final one at 12:00? That way if somebody wanted to go play in the sandbox, at 2:55, they'd be able to pick a sandbox that wasn't about to be cleared.

Only if they post the schedules in the sandboxes. But the idea does make some sense.

good idea, but it will make things kind of confusing (now does this sandbox reset at 12 or 3?)
it would be nice if it were in the land about box.

Also it would be nice if the sandbox wipes could all happen within the space of a minute, instead of merely appearing to do so, but then deleting something you pull out of inventory at 3:15.

Its interesting huns, I think it is deleting in reverse order of object placement. The only reason I know this is I rezzed a really huge structure in cordova, before the wipe, and it disappeared in about the same order as it had been rezzed in-world.
So what we're seeing on a wipe isn't 'sector-by-sector' return or anything, but seemingly temporal I think. Would explain why some areas get 'cleaned' first and others linger to the end, just depends on the time they were created.
Unless you've got another theory...
