As I don't use the forums much anymore, these may have been asked for recently or not *shrug* I dun care....I am asking cuz I want :-P..

It would be nice to have "Linux" style minimize feature for all windows within the SL UI.

You know where it folds 'up' in the same place the top part of the window was while open?

This minimizing to bottom "behind" chat boxes and other minimized scripts etc is annoying at the least.

Along with that feature...have a remember last window position for minimized window bars so we can put the minimized window anywhere we want, and it remembers where it was minimized to, so when you expand it...it goes back to same spot once minimized again.

Basically give us more choice in how our UI is layed out.

I asked for this next one loooooooong ago with no real reply for LL but much user agreement came from it.......

Allow us to have a dock/undock for "ALL" SL windows. This would be really great for those of us that do Dual monitor setups.

You know, the ability to remove the window from the UI and float it out of the UI so as to have SL on one monitor and scripts, editor, etc.... on a different monitor?

Would be nice to be able to see whats going on in SL while scripting or reading a long notecard etc......

last suggestion:

Allow "FULL" user customization of the UI.

Like if one would like to 'mold' all windows into one, modify how a window looks whatever....Just being able to change color of the UI isn't enough.

As far as I know, windowshading first appeared in MacOS.

This is a "no boot fits all" area.

The only real answer to UI features is to XML'ify the whole UI, which they are doing slowly, allegedly --- check the client's XML files for progress.

Once that is done then sites will pop up dedicated to tailoring the UI to the most common styles that people are requesting, or you'll be able to tailor your own.

I am aware that it would be XML drivin...much like the Everquest UI.

This is basically my requesting it, so as to keep LL informed that we the users are still interested in this, and not to crap can the idea.

also Linux vs. Mac why even go there? I guess you can say you understand what I ment :-P

Linux was just an example..... I am not a fan of Mac OS as they ripped off Amiga OS in a few many ways.....then again so did Microsoft.
