Teen Preview Grid for Adults!

I would petition LL to provide a Preview for the TEEN GRID which is only accessible to Adults on the ain Grid with Premium Accounts!

Why?

1. So we can take a look around and see if any if our designs have been lifted...and AR them in the process so that they can be removed from the Teen Grid!
   
2. This will give LL's paying customers some means to defend their works
   
3. This will also give LL some insight as to who is tiptoeing over to the main grid from the teen grid and therefore disable their account.
   

Get a Preview up for the Teen Grid Linden Lab! Make it happen PLEASE!

The Teen Grid is already accessable to adults who are smart enough to lie about their birth year

This may be true, but not all of us are into lying. What happens when you lie about your birth year and find your designs in the Teen grid. Do you AR it? WHat di you write in the AR?



What do you think LL would do about it?

My guess is you'll have to wait for some responsible parent who, in monitoring his/her teen's activity on the Teen Grid, witnesses the inclusion of some item from the adult grid that does not belong there, and then encourages said teen to report it with something like... "I think I found something that does not belong on the teen grid; my mom [or dad] says it's supposed to be one of [someone on the main grid]'s items, but it got stolen."

Okay, that seems to be too big a stretch. Still, I would strongly discourage any efforts at trying to break into the teen grid by lying about your age. I say unless you have a kid who lives on the teen grid, you probably are worrying too much about it, and if you do have a kid on the teen grid, communicating with him/her ought to help combat that kind of piracy without opening up some "Teen Preview" grid.

By the way, even if someone were to go against all wisdom and attempt to make such a grid anyway, it would be a daunting task. Because the preview grids are created from snapshots of the existing grids, you would have to replace the teen grid member list with the main grid member list, and that would corrupt the data related to the content and saved member locations in the snapshot. Land-owning members would own land not on a grid, no one would own any land on the grid, and all the objects would belong to someone else who doesn't exist. I would see such a grid crashing before it could boot up.

But why preium accounts?

I always had a basic account.
I think most people have basic accounts and rent land in linden dollars.
