I hate that key because I'll be doing some work, then I accidentally press it, and then SL gets minimized. Then i have to wait for windows to refresh, and then click SL, wait for the textures to refresh and be seen. Takes for ever.. then again everything takes foreer on a 533 MHz computer POS you know. heh

Do a Google search for - disable "windows key" - and you'll find a few instructions on editing a specific registry key to eliminate your problem.

Don't quote me on this, since it was a long time ago that I checked, but I believe that the Windows key may not actually be application-toggleable. It's part of MS's "Embrace, Extend, Insert Crap Functionality Everywhere effort?" If you don't want to mess with your registry, you can always just pop your Windows key off the keyboard altogether, though personally, I'd go for the Registry option.

OMFG 533MHz??? And I thought my 3 year old 1333MHz AMD was crap. SL isnt even supposed to run on something that old. Min specs are 800MHz IIRC.

windows key

now it may not be an option any more, but i do believe i remember seeing this in some other game, they gave you the option of disabling it. A registry hack is not exactly a viable solution for those people who still want to use their windows key outside of SL
