Hi,

I am a builder in secondlife and it gets me really annoyed when I try to link large buildings and I get the error "link failed - peices too far apart." This is probably the most frusterating thing ever. Who agrees that this limit should be taken off?

There are good reasons for these limitations, and lindens have posted about them in the forums in the past.

You can get around the link distance limit. Try searching for Rez-Faux in world (disclosure: it's my product). There are also other rezzers that similarly help get around the link distance limit.

Lots of good reasons in this post, and it is so easy to pickup a large build (edit one part, hold shift and click all the others parts, now take a copy, or take it, and the object in inventory is the whole build) and all you have to do is remember to pull it out with edit window open and you can move it as one... (ok maybe not real easy, are will cause some problems, as stated in the link..but easy enough).

There are plenty of others... just search for "link distance limit" or something similar.
