Hers's a good one

I have a really good idea, how about not having conventions in cities where a McDonalds hamburger costs over $7. The vast majority of SL residents do not live in areas where garbagemen make $60,000 a year and fleabag hotels cost $200 a night. That means San Fransisco, Tokyo, Boston and New York aught not be a perfered convention site if you want a large number of players from across the nation to attend.

Also keep in mind that New York is a union town, that means with any sort of convention you have to hire some mooks at $30 an hour to turn on your light switch and plug in your laptop in any meeting area.
