Have an idea.. that will take some explaining.
Yesterday had a griefer, not 100% sure but about 90% sure who's alt it was. This person came to my store, walked right up to me and started harassing me in room chat. I didnt even bother to respond, since I will not waste my time on ignorance.
I booted and banned them from the property. They popped onto the property next to mine and stood on the line and continued their behavior. I just ignore them.
Next, they joined the group I am an officer of and started harrasing there. Now, the option I was given in live help was to make the group by invite only. That I have issues with. Because of a greifer I have to restrict joining the group? Why should things become more difficult for me and for the group members because of someone elses foolish behavior.
I would like to suggest an option in groups that you can have them as open enrollment, but have the option to ban people from joining the group. I think this would be of advantage for a lot of people who have stalkers and griefers to deal with.

I've been asking for this for awhile.
Land has both 'allow' (access) and a 'deny' (ban) lists.
Groups should have both ban lists just like land does, for one simple reason : we should not have to make our group invite only to keep out a few troublemakers. The reasons are twofold : 1) If we have to make our groups invite only to keep out a few troublemakers, then the troublemakers have already won.... they can grief us just a little safe in the knowledge that the only way for us to stop it is to make the group invite only and inconvenience a lot of our normal users. 2) Troublemakers should *not* get away with trouble with a 'clean record' as they do now. Now, if someone spams my groups, I have to eject them and make the group invite only to stop them rejoining. They don't have any mark on their record for this. It'd be much better if their name hung around in a 'ban' list on the group forever... so people who later came to the group and checked the ban list could see their name there.
While I'm on the topic : 1) Ejecting (and/or banning) someone from a group should: a) remove them from any active group IMs they are currently in b) send a message to any group IMs they are currently in saying that they were ejected or banned and who by. c) come with an option to also add them to the ban lists for that group's parcels too d) NOT tell the person ejected/banned that they were so - just like mute doesn't tell someone they were muted, group eject/ban should not tell them either. This will avoid a whole lot of grief and drama by residents over-reacting.
2) the group ban list should have two extra fields besides just the names of banned people: a) the name of the avatar that added them b) a *short* text field describing why they were banned (say, 255 chars)
3) the ban lists for land (all parcels) should have the same format - they should list who banned the person and have space for a ban reason. The ban reason should be SHOWN to the banned avatar when they try to enter the parcel.
4) Estates (and, imo, also groups and parcels) should have 'group ban' lists - which prohibit any avatar in one of the banned groups from joining the group or going on the parcel/estate concerned. The banned person should NOT be told why they are banned and they should NOT be able to call up the parcel/estate info to find out they are affected by a group ban. I know that this is a shift, but think of the benefits: a) reduction of inter-group conflict. E.g. there's a group in SL called the "anti furries" - and I've noticed their members are on a LOT of ban lists around SL. Why not pro-actively ban everyone in that group from, say, the major furry sims? It might result in a LOT less griefing. b) pro-active griefer banning. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to stop groups of griefers by using induction to find what they have in common and banning based on that? c) this could finally give some automatically-enforced clout to parcel/estate rules. If the rules say "absolutely NO guns or weapons use", then I imagine the owner might like to ban certain very gung-ho groups in SL based around weapons use. If an estate bans, for example, furry avatars, it makes sense for them to pro-actively ban groups that are dedicated to people who use furry avatars 24/7. It's not even a case of assuming that the members of the banned groups are doing anything wrong, necessarily, it could just be an easy way of enforcing the rules that landowners set, without the need to futilely try to explain the rules to lots of people whose group affiliations mean they are very unlikely to listen anyway.

Would be a nice option. Either that or some way for a script to read the list of members from a group and tell you if they joined so you could eject/ban them manually... ;/
