servus down message

Right now the grid is off line , because it's being upgrade. The second life client could inform user of such events. Like if I try to log in, it could display a message from the secondlife.com stating why the grid is down. The message could be changes by the lindons to what ever is apropret.

It could be used in times when the asset server is running slow.
Or log in traffic is high.
Or During upgrads.
Or router problems.

I'm thinking your thinking is good thinking.

I received a message on log in that the server was doen due to scheduled maintenance or something along those lines, I always have when it's down..
