As time goes by people have been harassing others more and more with unwanted scripts and items, invading land, privacy , bombarding and attacking others with nonsense , scripts that they get from some annoying designer who doesnt take other SL residents into consideration....

Proposing this feature for better added security and control even if its just a land owner function. There needs to be a way to detect the creator of items, to stop certain designers from passing out scripted harassment tools or specific weapons and giving them to other people or spreading them around and causing problems...

[[ NOTE FOR LINDENS ]] If this would be added Lindens wouldnt have to worry about half the griefing attack reports they get, every single user wouldnt have t be reported, just ban the designer of the current item, BAM , all the jokers using the script are stopped at the source..

For instance someone makes a gun thats loud and has the most annoying sound the game can allow or spawning bullets with annoying cartoon figures, and it gets popular among another community of less serious playful resident... so all of a sudden your on your own private land, continously banning people daily because they decide to use this annoying script.. and when random people are using it and are from different groups, theres no way to ban them all.

theres plenty of scripts out there that the creator has LONG BEEN GONE, just becuase you stop the scripter, you still have X amount of PITA-tron 5000's for every durh to continue using

besides, if they did such a thing and didnt totally piss the scripter off, it takes litterly 30 seconds to make a new account, thus you didnt solve anything

I don't believe you can use llSensor to get information about attachments on people actually. So banning someone on the basis of the creator of something they have attached wouldn't work.

how would that work with harmless scritps created by somone other than the person that modifed it to make it dangerous like the scritps in the partyhats used to atack the grid a while back?
