Nothing is more frustrating than limitations and that is exactly what one gets when you buy a parcel or sim and then you get stuck on prim limit. Its even worse when some land hog comes in and buys up all available land for sale in your region and leaves you landlocked with no way to buy more land close to your existing property to get more prims, or you have people sitting on land they arent using and are never online. I would like to see the ability to purchase additional prims for parcels. LL could offer specials bundled or in smaller sizes at varying prices (ex. 512 sq m can purchase up to 100 additional prims; 1024 sq m can purchase up to 150 extra prims, and so on) Currently, Im landlocked due to neighbors not happy with the space they have buying up all available land for sale and leaving it empty simply to use the extra prims it provides, and limiting what I have or do not have access to because of the lack of land in the region. So the ability to purchase additional prims for parcels would be very nice and save alot of aggravation. Perhaps 1L for every additional prim or something along that line, or just as well, land being held for maintenance by LL could be sectioned off and set for sale at a good price but limited to those that hold land below a certain amount (ex. if you already own over 10k in land, you cant purchase the LL land, etc.) Just a thought, but I would be interested in hearing others thoughts on this idea and also how they feel about the limits as well.

This on paper seems to be a good idea, anything to get more prims without buying additional land got to be a good thing. But, I've been wanting the prim allowances in general on parcels to be increased for a very long time. I remember during one town hall meeting in the 1.6 days a Linden said they would look into increasing of prim allowances after 1.7 is released, of course this has never happened. With members mastering building tecniques and builds becoming more elaborate it's very hard to keep within the prim allowance guide lines at times *shrugs*.

Land doesn't need to be near you so long as it's in the same sim. You could always offer to sell out to your prim-greedy neighbor for a profit and find a larger parcel elsewhere... Keep in mind that quite often: more prims = more rendering = lower fps & longer times for the world to 'fill in'. Prim quotas are one way of trying to keep performance speed reasonable.
