HTML Feature: Whiteboard - paste to prim

What I want:

Copy from and paste to/from a whiteboard in SL.

HTML - even interactive HTML - will not be sufficient. The best that will provide will be form fields that would not be secure. What I think we'd need would be a prim where a user would click on it to make the prim "active", this way input from the user could be changed, and not affect the overall SL engine. This "touch" activity could activity check who has mod property of the prim, and unless it's set to permissive, it locks out others.
