Would be nice to be able to turn off these generic animations such as breathing, changing stand poses, etc. Whether via scripting or options in the UI, either way.
This would help out in animation alot, as the breathing anim and others (body_noise maybe? not sure) cause your av to move when alot of the time you would like it to be frozen in place.
I'm thinking this shouldnt be that hard to implement, breathing doesnt even animatie on avs more than like 10 meters away from the camera, and your av also freezes when you select an attachment.(of course, there could be things im not aware of in how they work)

I heavily support and indorse this. I was going to suggest something like this awhile ago, but didn't. Its breathe_rot and I want to stop it. Why? Because then you could actualy edit attachments without fudging up cause you breathed, among other things.

You can bet I'd like this to. It shouldn't be hard at all! FREEZE!!! And Oz, yeah... remember that time it took me like... uh, an hour to fit your glasses. LOL... Even slowing breathing via debug menu is not good enough. Would be soooooo greatly appreciated to totally paralyze an avie in place. Thankyou!

Great point, Archanox! This is quite annoying. In addition, anyone heard of any plans to add a "animations" tab to preferences? It would really work a lot more smoothly to be able to override the default Linden anims without have a script that has to send everything to and fro The AOs are great pieces of work, but this functionality should be native to newview in my opinion Regards, -Flip

Offtopic: Flipper, I believe they're working on some such, but its a "back burner" issue, and low on the priority list. From comments I believe it was originaly supposed to be inclueded into SL with the other animation features, but didn't make it in because of the push in custom anims priority.
I too would like to see that greatly.

Kyrah, what you do is turn on Debug menu (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D I believe) then click Debug - Character - Slow Animations (I think)
This will cause all animations to run in "slow motion" and causes even breathing to slow down a bit.
