sort the group forum names

i know this has been suggested and endorsed in the past; but i can't find the thread.

there are enough existing group forums that the index is actually hard to use. surely to goodness vbulletin has a sort option that can be checked so that the group forums list is sorted alphabetically.

this is too easy to fix to be ignored.

I support this idea! Also, I know of at least one or two groups on that list that are no longer really groups. I know you need a certain number in your group to get a forum, but how does LL know if it drops below that number or the group dissolves unless the leader or another officer tells them? I would just hate to see a million group forums in there one day and the group doesn't even qualify anymore. I dunno, maybe it is just me.

it's not just you pen. some of them don't contain a single thread. if i were the divine moderator:

groups would have to continue to exist and maintain the minimum group size to keep their forum. offenders would probably have to be identified. i doubt i'd be checking this every other day;

and there would have to be some semblance of regular posting. at least a few posts a month pending some special circumstance. i mean really.

of course there'd be plenty of warning before changes were made so that people had time to download threads or revive the group or such.

I endorse this proposal.

This is a great idea, it takes too much visual scanning to figure out where a forum is.
