seems a lot of people are having issues with people copying thier models. Now of course people will always be able to eyeball it, but that's fairly imprecise and time consuming.

The two ways that are easier and more frequently used are copying manually by numbers, and by script.

These don't strike me as too hard to close up. First, blank out the numbers for objects you don't have mod perms on. Second include a checkbox labeled "allow resize" that can be checked instead of full modify. This way shoes and the like can be resizeable without the numbers being visible. There is already a script function for allowdrop that you may want to look into if that's the reason you've been giving modify perms. Although an allow drop checkbox wouldn't hurt either. I believe that pretty much closes the manual copy by numbers issue.

Now for copying by script. This should be even easier. A checkbox labeled "creator scripts only". This would uncheck the run box if the PRIM's (not the entire object's) creator doesn't match the script's creator.

that's my two cents worth. Watcha think?
