It would be nice if "bald" was an option in the hair customization menus.
With some manipulation I am able to get a clean shaven head, but the "hair object" still resides hidden within the depths of my skull. When I assume certain positions, such as a forward lean to ride my hoverbike or when I attempt certain dances, one can see a white tuft of hair protruding from my head. This is most disconcerning.

Make your hair texture a fully transparent alpha image. It'll be gone.

You can also set the volume slider for hair down to 0 so that it's hidden inside your head.

Volume=0 doesn't always work. Even then the head and hair objects are too similar in size and the hair sometimes shows through either cos the graphics engine doesn't synchronise the animation of the two objects properly *or* the z-order works out the same. Maybe it's just on my graphics card (ATi FireGL8800). Either way it's annoying cos your head flickers between skin tone and black. I hadn't though to change the texture to transparent.

This zipfile contains a 16x16 full alpha transparency. Upload it to the game and set it as your hair texture, you could have a mohawk and it wont show up.

Ha, such a simple solution.
Thanks; being the little blue bald man that I am I never thought of that. Didn't even know it was possible until this point. Duh.

Does it take less memory to display a 16x16 texture or display 1x1 texture 16 times? Shrug. I don't think it makes a bit of difference honestly. I just happened to have a 16x16 file open for some webwork, i dropped everything off it and saved it. Shrug.
