So far i seen we scripters need some more commands for parcel management. I seen already a proposal for getting parcel title and description, thats good but not enough.

In my opinion we need:

-Get & Set Parcel Name
-Get & Set Parcel Description
-Get & Set Show in Find Places (30L$/week)
-Get(already implemented) & Set Parcel Flags
-Get & Set Landing Point

That would allow land renters to have an automated system that allows tenants to manage the land better using more feautres. Example: I rent a shop that is on a own parcel. I can set description and name and publish it on Find Places by paying additional 30 Lindens to the rent box, i can fit the landing point inside the shop and set the parcel flags i want.

Thoughts?

More parcel functions are definitely good, I'd still very much like an llGetParcelPrims (how many prims are on a parcel) and llGetParcelPrimLimit (the allocation of prims this plot has, wouldn't include total available across multiple plots).

Getting/setting parcel name, desc and flags would seem to have obvious uses. Landing point and 'find places' listing I can't see a point for, but I can see a point for a few other scriptable land functions, such as add/remove/list commands for parcel/estate ban lists, and various functions related to prim management, such as :
* llGetAgentPrimCountByKey (key agentkey)
* llGetAgentPrimCountByName (string residentname)
* llReturnPrimsByAgentKey (key grieferkey, integer maxiumprimstoleaveonparcel)
* llReturnPrimsByAgentName (name mallrentername, integer maximumprimstoleaveonparcel)

I'd suggest the ones to manage prim limits are possibly the most urgent. They would open up a lot of new options for prim management (e.g. for space rentals in malls), and enable security orbs to return griefers' prims too as well as banning them.
Second to that I'd suggest the ability for scripts to get/set parcel names and descs. Not because this is a really urgent feature, but because it'd be comparitively simple to put in place.
Thirdly, I'd suggest that the ability for scripts to add entries to, remove entries from, and *list* the parcel *and estate* ban lists would be great. It'd also help if there was an option in the UI to set timed bans manually so parcel ban lists don't fill up with accounts that no longer use SL. This would be a GREAT option.

I made an example that makes find places listing interesting. You made it yourself actually, shop rentals.

Yeah, I diddn't fully understand how being able to change the landing point is helpful in your example.

She can advertise her shop in find places and offer a TP to the doorstep. Simple as that.
