it would be nice if we could get all the parameters associated with an object.
  1. llGetTopShear
  2. llGetObjectType
  3. llGetCut
  4. ...

it came up cause i was thinking about writing a fake mirror command that rotates the object accordingly and then reverses the necessary parameters.

It's on the long list of already requested features.

But then again, you'd need limits. You should only be able to get the parameters of objects you created, and that implies the Lindens making a llGetCreator and llDetectedCreator function.

llGetPrimitiveParams(list flags)
where flags is a list of flags ie
[PRIM_BUMP_SHINY, PRIM_COLOR, PRIM_MATERIAL, PRIM_PHANTOM, PRIM_PHYSICS, PRIM_POSITION, PRIM_ROTATION, PRIM_SIZE, PRIM_TEMP_ON_REZ, PRIM_TYPE, PRIM_TEXTURE]

This suggests to me that the return type would need to be a list, which just from my point of view seems like it would be harder to implement then single calls for each attribute.

Yeah yeah yeah, i realize i am a month behind :D

The problem with llGetPrimitiveParam is it means that it would be possible to write a script to export objects.

It is already possible, just takes more effort.

The Lindens seemed amenable to it in some Town Hall or another I read...
